It is best to make use of your PAG-IBIG housing loan habang bata ka pa:

  1. You will be finished paying your mortgaged house loan earlier so you can retire young…the sooner the better you can enjoy time with family at home
  2. You have lesser responsibilities and obligations
  3. Earlier opportunity to earn passive income
  4. You have more time to wait for the construction to finish
  5. Generally land increase in value as time pass by (what is worth a million today will be worth much higher later)
  6. You have better chances of availing lower mortgage interest rates since there is low risk for the bank or financing institution

Remember the following requirements:

  1. Borrowers has contributed a minimum of 24 monthly contributions (totaling 4,800)
  2. Up to 3 PAG-IBIG  members may avail of single housing loan provided they are related
  3. below 65 years old
  4. monthly amortization should not exceed 1/3 of your gross monthly income.  (if income is insufficient, you may take your spouse or close relative to tack-in your contributions)
  5. with enough savings for the down payment or equity required
  6. prepared with the following documents:

Affordable House in Cavite ba ang hanap mo? Try Elliston Place

When I got into Elliston Place when it was launched last year, I saw how beautiful it is! You can see pictures below to appreciate.

This is one of the few house and lot for sale in Cavite that is completely finished with tiles, paint, and bedroom partition, plus delivered with gate for added security.

My assessment for this property would be 8 out of 10.

For location, it is very accessible to the Open Canal Road and best if you have your own car. If you are commuting, you have to go through Malagasang Road and the subdivision is located at the back of Marycris Complex. I will give the location a rating of 8 out of 10.

For the price, it may be a bit pricy compared to nearby properties in the area. I am giving it a score of 8 out of 10 because even though the lot is only 48sqm, Duraville, which is the developer, was able to maximize it and delivered a 3bedroom, 2 bathroom, complete turnover property with gate.

For the design, it is 9 out of 10. There are very few house and lot for sale in Cavite that will give you a beautiful finish. They also used a conventional construction method using hollow blocks that makes it strong and sturdy for quality house design.
